ROLLE, Switzerland–(DWPR)–PPG (NYSE: PPG) has announced the donation of its PPG LINQ™ digital automotive refinish ecosystem to 15 vocational schools across more than 10 countries over the past 15 months. This initiative is part of PPG’s $2 million commitment through 2025 to support workforce development, address the skills shortage, and attract young talent to trade careers, including the automotive refinish industry.

The donations have provided over 1,500 students with hands-on experience using advanced digital tools, preparing them for modern automotive refinishing careers while addressing the industry’s skilled labor gap. This effort also supports solutions for challenges highlighted in the European Commission’s vocational education and training (VET) report, such as access to modern equipment and work-based learning opportunities.
